Are you as shocked as I am about the prices in the new J.Crew catalog? Some of the coats and luggage pieces cost as much as $2,000! (I think this dollar figure merits an exclamation mark.) Granted, the items are gorgeous, (see left) and they are part of the collection line, but wasn’t J.Crew supposed to be reasonably priced?

Well I don’t find JC reasonable…. but I do like their things in terms of style, or quality.

I still think that Jcrew is overpriced on their regular items. They have good quality stuff but let’s be honest, it doesn’t take $60 to make a sweater! Especially if it’s not cashmere!
With their new high prices it’s evident that they are thinking more of themselves lately. I doubt the shoppers think so too.
