While we loved the bright neon shades on fingers and toes this summer, nothing says autumn like the rich, saturated shades of the trendiest nail polish shades of this new season. From grey to green (yes, green!), eggplant to pewter, it’s time to get rid of bubblegum pink and bright coral and take a walk on the walk side.

If there was ever proof of us living in a material world, it was no more apparent than on the Fall 09 runways. Designers looked back to the 80s with gleeful nostalgia and reinterpreted the all-or-nothing styles with a contemporary slant.
